'Rock On' director Abhishek Kapoor marries Pragya Yadav in low-key ceremony

 

Mumbai: Actor-turned-director Abhishek Kapoor tied the knot with his girlfriend of two years; actress Pragya Yadav in Mumbai on Monday. The director called on some of his close Bollywood friends to join him on this happy occasion. 

 

Abhishek, who is currently shooting his next film ‘Fitoor’ with Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor, held a small private ceremony at the famous Iskcon temple today.

 

It was love at first sight for the couple who started dating and got engaged in 2013. The two took their rounds around the sacred fire in the presence of Bollywood stars like Sohail Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and many more. 

 

 

 

Actor Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr were among the few guests who attended the low-key wedding. Arjun, who worked with the director in the 2008 film Rock On!! took to his social networking handles to congratulate the couple and post pictures from the wedding.

 

 

Actor Saqib Saleem, who co-starred with Pragya in Hawaa Hawaai, also congratulated the couple on Twitter with a message that read : Oye badhaiyaan to my lovely @pragyadav_ n @Abhishekapoor ...stay happy!! Stay blessed!!

 

Neither Katrina nor Aditya could make it to the wedding as they were tied up with prior shooting commitments.
