India Post to set up 95 ATMs in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh soon

2,438 sub-post offices in the two states are also being upgraded to CBS platform

Hyderabad: India Post on Tuesday said it is setting up as many as 95 ATMs across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh soon.

Thirty-six will be in Telangana and the remaining in Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle, B V Sudhakar inaugurated first India Post ATM in Telangana today at Hyderabad GPO.

"All the head post offices in both the states are already in core banking solution (CBS) platform," an India Post statement said.

As many as 2,438 sub-post offices in the two states are also being upgraded to CBS platform during 2015-16, it was stated.
