Director Mani Ratnam fit contrary to heart attack reports

The director is said to have a medical history of heart-related complications

Mumbai: Prominent director Mani Ratnam was reportedly hospitalised on Tuesday after he suffered a minor heart attack. The ‘OK Kanmani’ director was sent to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi. But contrary to reports, Mani visited the hospital for a regular check up. He got a master health checkup done in Delhi to avoid Chennai public eye. The direcor is holidaying with his family in Srinagar.

Ratnam also survived a heart attack in 2004 when he was filming for the bi-lingual movie ‘Yuva’ and in 2009 while shooting for 'Raavan'.
