Sony Xperia C4: New selfie smartphone to go on sale this June

Sony added another selfie handset to its Xperia series – Xperia C4 on May 6, 2015.The company claims that the Xperia C4 and Xperia C4 Dual smartphones fall under the PROselfie category. The design of Xperia C4 has also been crafted with precise detail and care to ensure every aspect amplifies the sharp and vivid display. A minimal frame around the scratch-resistant screen enhances both the viewing experience and the smartphone design.

Sony Xperia C4 sports a 5.5-inch (1920x1080 pixel) Full-HD IPS display, with a scratch resistant coating. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. This selfie smartphone is fuelled with a 2,600mAh battery. The newly unveiled Sony Xperia C4 features a 5MP front camera with 25mm wide-angle lens. Sony’s Exmor RTM for mobile sensor, soft LED flash and HDR allows you to capture high-resolution photos even in low light conditions. 

Sony Xperia C4 is also preloaded with camera apps such as Style portrait with styles including ‘vampire’ and ‘mystery’ to add a unique edge to your selfie. Moreover, apps such as AR mask give your selfie a twist by letting you place a different face over your own face or others’ faces while you snap a selfie. Sony Xperia C4 smartphone models also sport a 13MP autofocus rear camera.

The company also states that the Sony Xperia C4 is compatible with more than 195 Sony NFC-enabled devices including SmartBand Talk (SWR30) and Stereo Bluetooth Headset (SBH60). You can also customise the smartphone with the protective desk-stand SCR15 Cover or with a full range of original Made for Xperia covers.

The Xperia C4 will be available in three colours such as white, black and a vibrant mint. The single SIM and dual-SIM variants of Sony Xperia C4 will go on sale from June 2015.
