In less than 24 hours Rishi Kapoor is back on Twitter
The veteran actor decided to quit the social networking site as he couldn't handle the negativity
Mumbai: Rishi Kapoor gained quite the popularity ever since he decided to give the popular social networking site Twitter a go. It was his ‘All is Well’ co-star Abhishek Bachchan, who convinced him to connect with his fans on the site, and from there he hasn’t stopped entertaining us with his quirky tweets.
From beef ban protests to 'I am not Ranbir Kapoor's mailbox', he has made us laugh out loud. However he isn't always just joking about, and has often used his wit to weigh in on issues that have dominated the news- recent being Salman Khan's verdict.
But sadly it looked like the actor couldn’t take it anymore and decided to quit Twitter on Thursday evening. The frustrated star tweeted, “Hi. Thought about it.Too much negativity abusive language and disregard for seniors. Will retire from Twitter coz it has only given me grief.”
However, it seems like director Sajid Khan convinced the veteran actor to comeback to Twitter. On Friday Rishi tweeted, “Back. Welcome reprieve for Salman. Unprecedented reaction to this news. Was wondering mere Twitter wapis aane pe Kya 1/100th% reaction hoga?”
And later followed up with this tweet, “Sajid. You are responsible for my coming back.Tweeple.If I do anything wrong lynch this man Sajid. Thank you Twitter for welcoming me.Touched.”
