Hyderabad: Employees of the 108 emergency services have postponed their strike by a day to Friday after the government invited them for talks by the government. Employees said they would go on strike from midnight on Friday if talks fail.

They are demanding the takeover of services from GVK EMRI. They want recognition on par with government employees though they said they don’t need pay hikes as per the PRC.
