Three employees were arrested for damaging the window-panes of a bus
Warangal: Hanamkonda bus depot became the centre of the RTC employees’ agitation in the district. Tension prevailed for the second day on Thursday when the striking employees clashed with the police personnel, who were deployed in large numbers to prevent the RTC employees from entering the depot.
Three employees were arrested for damaging the window-panes of a bus. They also blocked the police vehicle thus leading to commotion.
Earlier, hundreds of striking workers took out a rally from Hanamkonda bus depot to the Hanamkonda bus stand via Ambedkar statue, and wanted to enter the bus stand, but were stopped due to imposition of Section 144. The cops were trying to prevent the RTC staff from attacking the buses or the temporary staff on duty.
