Trisha out of another Varun Manian film?
Actress says it’s because of clashing dates
Actress Trisha recently ended all speculation regarding her broken engagement with Varun Manian, with a tweet stating that she was happily single, “Amused by d hazaar speculations doin d rounds. Let it rest people. Happy, single n thankful (sic)” And now, Trisha apparently has even dropped out of another film funded by her ex-fiance Varun Manian, citing date issues.
The Tamil film, tentatively titled YSS (Yuvan Selva Simbu) was to have Simbu and Trisha in the lead roles, with Yuvan Shankar Raja helming the music. Now, the director’s project has hit a huge road block with Trisha opting out after a photoshoot with the lead actors was done. In fact, a short teaser for the film had also been shot.
The actress is believed to have opted out of this film because it is being funded by Varun and she wants to cut all ties. This is the second Varun-linked project, the actress has dropped out of.
When contacted, the actress says the decision was due to a clash of dates. “It is purely due to date clashes and nothing else, so many films are taking place at the same time. All said and done, Selva remains one of my favourite directors and I would love to do a film with him anytime in the future.”
