IPL 8 KKR vs KXIP: 6 players to watch out for
Gautam Gambhir-led KKR eager demolish down and out Kings XI Punjab
Kolkata: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will aim for their third win on the trot and end the home leg on a high when they face a demoralised Kings XI Punjab in their Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match on Saturday.
Here are six players to watch out for.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Gautam Gambhir: The KKR skipper has not scored many runs in last few games and due for a big score. With KXIP not in contention to make it to top four, Gautam Gambhir would be keen to cash in and score big.

Brad Hogg: The Australian has done a fabulous job for KKR and made sure they did not suffer due to Narine's absence. With the Eden Gardens assisting the spinners, the chinaman must be rubbing his hands and decimate KXIP.

Suryakumar Yadav: The aggressive Mumbai batsman can dazzle the fans with his audacious strokeplay. With KKR playing their final home game in league stage, the big hitter will be looking forward to give the homefans a treat.

Kings XI Punjab:
Virender Sehwag: While KXIP are already out of contention to reach top four, they can at least play party poopers. And in that scenario, there are not too many players who can match Virender Sehwag.

Sandeep Sharma: While KXIP’s star bowler Mitchell Johnson failed in IPL 8, Sandeep Sharma managed to earn more than handful of fans with his superb swing bowling. Although the youngster does not have pace on his side, he can thwart KKR with his ability to swing a cricket ball.

Glenn Maxwell: Glenn Maxwell had been a huge disappointment for KXIP in this edition of IPL. Although it is too late, the Australian is capable of destroying KKR bowling attack.
