Abandoned old woman taken home

Nellore: The second son of 70-year-old Annem Ramanamma of Sangam town came forward to take care of her on Sunday after the police threatened to lodge a case against all four sons. It may be recalled that Deccan Chronicle had reported her sons left had her on the premises of the police station at Sangam after a quarrel over who should look after take on Saturday.

A widow, Ramanamma is bedridden after a suffered a leg injury about 10 days back. Sangam SI Srinivas Vijay pulled up her sons and threatened to file a case against them. Her second son Suresh took her to his home on Sunday.
