New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday directed a trial court in Hyderabad to defer all further proceedings in the Rs 800 crore money laundering case initiated by the Enforcement Directorate against Tech Mahindra, which bought the erstwhile Satyam Computers.

A Bench of Justices T.S. Thakur and R. Banumathi, disposing of an appeal filed by Tech Mahindra against the interim orders of the Hyderabad High Court, said the HC should dispose of the main case within four months. The High Court had not stayed a single judge’s order, it said.
