Kamal Haasan's unexceptional look in 'Papanasam'

Mumbai: The makers have released the first poster of Kamal Haasan starrer 'Papanasam'. The film helmed by Jeethu Joseph is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster 'Drishyam'. The first poster is a heartwarming picture of an ordinary middle-class family riding on a bike. The film which also features Asha Sharath and Gautham, has Nivedha Thomas playing the role of Kamal's daughter.

 

Gauthami is returning to the silver screen after a gap of almost 20 years.She also took up the role in Papanasam because she understood that the filmmaker was sure that she was the right person for it. In an interview to DC, she had said, “The role should be one that challenges me — not just somebody’s mother or sister. It should be a meaty one and integral to the movie,” she says.

 

Also, Kamal's Tamil film 'Uttama Villain' has hit the screens across the world and he is awaiting the release of 'Vishwaroopam 2'.
