Here is how you can send a message that disappears after being read

If you ever need to share some information with someone, which you do not want to be forwarded to other people, here is a way. PrivNote, an online self-destructive message service, allows a user to send a message that disappears after being read.

It is a simple 3-step procedure to use PrivNote. Here is how you can go about it:

Step 1: Go to privnote.com

Step 2: Type the message you want to send in the given note box, and then click on ‘Create Note’ (If you wish to be notified when your recipient receives the message, tick mark the notification option given right below the note box)

Step 3: After you have created the note, PrivNote will generate a link, which you can share with your recipient via e-mail or instant message.

Once the recipient receives the message, you will receive a notification of you have chosen the option. Also, the note you send exists only till the user keeps the windows open. If the recipient wishes to keep the content, they must copy the message before closing the page. Once the page is closed, it cannot be retrieved from the history again, nor does the link respond again. If you try to open the link after you have already read it, this is the message you receive.

However, before using this service, a user must keep a few things in mind. Since the message shared can be copied, no sensitive information must be exchanged. Also, you cannot share any media through PrivNote, it only allows you to exchange text. Lastly, although it is a self-destructive service, be a nice citizen, and use the application responsibly!
