New Delhi: The government is likely to launch the website of NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) on Monday. The government had replaced the Planning Commission with the NITI Aayog on January 1 this year. "The website for NITI Aayog is ready for operation. The government is planning to launch the website on Monday," He said.

"The designing of the website took a little longer than usual because it would have a wider target audience. It would be a platform for states, experts, citizens and stakeholders where they can share their views on different issues and see others' perspectives."

The government had archived the website of the erstwhile Planning Commission in the first week of January after replacing it with Aayog. The Aayog has been mandated to serve as a policy think-tank for the central as well as state governments and has Prime Minister as its Chairperson.
