Villages near Andhra Pradesh capital to grow

Hyderabad: Ahead of capital city construction N. Chandrababu Naidu’s government made a move for the development of infrastructure in AP Capital villages. The move is aimed to prevent them from turning into slums and low profile areas within the world class capital city.
Consultants are hired for development of capital villages in three clusters: (i) Mandadam and seven others in Tadepalli, (ii) Anantavaram and seven other villages of capital city, (iii) Lingayapalem and seven villages covered in AP capital city.
Consultants were asked to make layer wise mapping of slums, vacant lands, flyovers, bridges existing in capital and a detailed project report of requirement right from water supply to infrastructure like roads.
According to CRDA officials competitive bids were invited for furnishing a detailed report on prevailing living standards of the residents in the three cluster villages with detail contour plans.
High level consultancy services shall be provided for improving the standards by providing developed infrastructure and amenities like better road connectivity, improved drains of storm water and sewage, potable water supply lines, water treatment plans and treatment plants for solid and liquid waste.
Layer wise map shall contained buildings, plots, vacant lands, rods, drainage sewerage network, water supply network, slum, street lights, hoardings, bridges flyovers, garbage collection centres.
