Honda set to recall 11,000 cars

Company to replace a faulty part in the passenger and driver side airbags

New Delhi: Honda Cars India said on Friday that it was recalling 11,381 units of Accord, CR-V and Civic, manufactured between 2003 and 2007, to replace a faulty part in the passenger and driver side airbags.

Honda Cars would carry out preventive replacement of passenger side air bag inflator of 575 units of CR-V manufactured in 2004 and driver side air bag inflator of 10,805 units of Accord manufactured from 2003 to 2007.

Additionally, the passenger side air bag inflator of 1 unit of Civic of 2004 make will also be replaced. Honda said that there has been no reporting of any incident related to this part in India.
