Vadyal (Adilabad): AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi who is on a padayatra in Telangana State, on Friday termed Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as a ‘mini- Modi’ and said both Modis failed to address farmers’ problems.

He said, “The need for a padayatra would not have occurred if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ‘mini-Modi’ had helped farmers and met them when they faced problems.”

Addressing a public meeting here at Vadyal at the culmination of his padayatra on Friday, Mr Gandhi criticised the PM and the Telangana CM and said that both the governments were working only for a few close to them.

He added that he would have had no objections if Mr Modi and Mr Rao worked for all including farmers along with industrialists.
