Amit Shah meets senior RSS leaders Mohan Bhagwat, Bhaiyyaji Joshi

New DelhiTwo days after former BJP president and Union home minister Rajnath Singh’s meeting with the RSS top brass, it was BJP president Amit Shah who met senior Sangh leaders, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Bhaiyyaji Joshi, at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on Saturday. 
 
Mr Shah, it is learnt, briefed the Sangh leadership on the party’s “highs” and “lows” in the past one year. 
Sources disclosed that a section of RSS leadership wanted a key role for  BJP’s ex-general secretary Sanjay Joshi during the Assembly elections. There were reports that some senior leaders,  were pulled up for wishing Mr Joshi on his birthday last month. After his meeting with the RSS leadership, Mr Shah also addressed the Sangh cadre at the ongoing prashikshan varg (training camp) and then met Mr Gadkari. The CAG report on irregularities of Purti Group was also discussed.
