Google launches 11.6-inch XOLO, Nexian Air Chromebook for Rs 12,999
Google also announced ASUS Chromebook Flip C201 and a model by Samsung
Touted for the education sector and the business, Google has launched XOLO and Nexian Air Chromebook in India. In a few days time, the XOLO Chromebook will be available on the online retail website Snapdeal, at a price of Rs 12,999. Whereas, the Nexian Air Chromebook, is already available on Amazon for the same price.
Other than the Chromebook, Google also announced ASUS Chromebook Flip C201 and a model by Samsung, which will be available later this year.
The XOLO Chromebook features an 11.6-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The chromebook is powered by a Rockship 3288 chipset, which is accompanied by a 1.8GHz Cortex A17 quad-core processor, a quad-core ARM Mali 760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It embraces a built-in storage of 16GB, which is further expandable using a microSD card. Running on Google’s Chrome OS, the chromebook includes two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 1MP web camera, along with Bluetooth 4.0. It is fuelled by a 4,200mAh battery, which the company claims can offer a runtime of 10 hours.
The Nexian Air Chromebook sports features quite similar to that of the XOLO chromebook. It features an 11.6-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a Rockship 3288 chipset, which is accompanied by a 1.8GHz Cortex A17 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The Nexian Chromebook also embraces a built-in storage of 16GB, which is further expandable using a microSD card. The chromebook also runs on Google’s Chrome OS. On the connectivity front it includes two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 1MP web camera, and a Bluetooth 4.0. The Nexian Air Chromebook is fuelled by a 4200mAh battery, which the company claims to give a runtime of 8 hours.
