Hyderabad: Sticking to his promise, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao ensured that work started in Parsigutta. He also visited Lalanagar, Shantinagar, and Chilkalguda, and over the next seven days, he will be meeting residents to find out their problems.

The reiterated his commitment to the progress of the area. Parsigutta has been bifurcated further into seven divisions to ensure that works are on finished properly.

Speaking to the CM, Ashoknagar residents complained about overflowing drains and water entering their homes during the rains. Residents also told him about the water scarcity. The CM promised to build five borewells in Ashoknagar.

The CM also said that there are many slums in Secunderabad and his target, now, is to develop these areas. General secretary of Sanjeepuram G. Chandrakanth said that there is a drinking water problem along with drainage leaks in his area. Madhuranagar Colony president Dr Sanjeeva Reddy said that the CM promised to build a community hall in their area.
