Salman Khan remembers Katrina Kaif while shooting in Kashmir

Mumbai: After making his first public appearance weeks after the Bombay High court suspended his sentence, Salman Khan has resumed his work and is currently shooting for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in full swing. The team had headed to Sonamarg to complete the shoot.

At the recent press conference Salman spoke about how this is his first time in the valley, and also said he was completely mesmerised by the natural beauty around him.

“If you haven’t seen Kashmir, you have seen nothing. This is my second trip to Kashmir this year. I have spent 40 days here. We will now be leaving the Valley after the successful shoot of our movie. We shot in Pahalgam and Sonamarg,” he said.

He also revealed that he was initially to shoot his film ‘Dabangg’ in the majestic location, but unfortunately that did not happen. Praising the valley for its magnificent beauty, the actor took to Twitter to post several pictures from his journey.

The pictures and Kashmir’s beauty reminded him of his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif. The actor tweeted, “Maashallah  Maashallah se yaad aya katrina kaif bhi Kashmir se hai.”  (sic)

The actor was also approached by a delegation of leaders of the reigning People's Democratic Party (PDP)  with the request to promote tourism of Jammu and Kashmir.

The two who dated for a brief period have managed to remain friends even after their breakup. There was no bad blood and the duo even worked on the film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ together.
