New Delhi: Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday hit back at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his remarks criticising the Modi government.

Naidu tweeted, "Rahul gives Zero to NDA government. Zeros can't recognise Heroes. Zeros find Zeros only."

In the blistering May heat, Rahul Gandhi on Monday raised the political temperature as he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of travelling around the world, but not finding time to visit the homes of farmers committing suicide.

Gandhi, beginning a three-day visit to Amethi, said the Modi government was taking opportunities away from farmers. “The cancellation of the mega food park dealt a major blow to farmers. The Modi government is engaging in the politics of revenge,” he said.

Gandhi said when it came to farmers’ issues, he would give the Modi government “zero out of 10”. He added: “If some industrialists houses are concerned, I will give 10 out of 10 to Centre.”
