Complaints can be lodged online from kiosks all over Guntur city

GUNTUR: The police department is going to start iClick kiosks in Guntur city to lessen the difficulties to lodge complaints. DGP J.V. Ramudu will start the i-click centres. The police department has noticed that some people are feeling shy and fearing to reach police stations to lodge complaints. Hence, the iClick online system is going to clear all the barriers between the public and the police department.
The complainant can lodge complaint by using computers, scanners and personal assistants would be available in these iClick centres to help the public. People can lodge written copy of the complaint by sending the scanned copies or can take the help of an assistant to type their complaint in the iClick kiosks. The complaint from iClick centres would go to the main server at Hyderabad and would be redirected to the district SP and police stations for action.
Girl students, P. Bhar-gavi and others of Guntur city said that usually girls and women would face difficulty to lodge complaints by going to the police station. Hence, these iClick kiosks would be helpful for the public who feel shy to reach the police station to lodge complaints.
Guntur urban SP Sarvasreshth Tripathi said that police IT core team already got training about iClick and DGP Mr Ramudu will launch iClick centres at Sanakar Vilas centre and other areas of the city.
