Rs 3 Lakh solatium to cadre’s kin

Chennai: AIADMK general secretary J. Jayalalithaa has conveyed her condolences to the family of the 55 th division secretary of Jayalalithaa Peravai at Avaniyapuram in Madurai S. Lenin Pandi and his wife Azhagimeena, who set herself ablaze after her husband died of cardiac arrest unable to bear the criticism by opposition leaders.

In a message, she said “Some political party members, who cannot accept the victory of AIADMK are involving in spreading wrong information about the party. The cadres should not lose their patience at a time when the party is set to witness many victories.” She announced a solatium of Rs3 lakh from the party’s family welfare fund to the bereaved family.
