Vijayawada girl tops KLUEEE, counselling from May 28

Vijayawada: The KL University here on Wednesday released results of KLUEEE (KLU Engineering Entrance Exam) and announced top ten rankers in the examination. Out of 52, 000 candidates who appeared for the examination from across the country, K. Sasi Priya of Vijayawada bagged the first rank, while T. Varshneya Bhusham from Rajahmundry secured second and M. Ajay Kumar secured 3rd rank.
G. Dharmik, K. Vinay Sai Phaneendra, J. Chinmayee, K. Venkata Sai Aditya, Adabala Sandeep, G. Oormila and G. Sai Sriragh secured ranks from fourth to 10th respectively. Speaking on the occasion, university vice-president K. Raja Hareen said that top rankers in KLUEEE, Eamcet and JEE-Main will be given scholarships and fee exemption. Mr Hareen said that admission counselling would begin from May 28 for reserved, sports, NCC, ex-servicemen categories, Eamcet rankers below 40,000, JEE qualifiers and KLUEEE rankers between 1 and 3,000.
On May 29, counselling would be held for KLUEEE rankers between 3,001 and 7,000, while counselling for 7,001 to 12,000 will be held on May 30. Similarly, counsel-ling will be held for rankers between 12,001 and 18, 000 to fill in over 2,500 engineering seats in the university. KLU V-C Prof. L.S.S. Reddy, Principal Prof. A. Ananda Kumar, director Srinivas, pro V-C Prof. A.V.S. Prasad and others were present.
