APCC chief suffers sunstroke

AnantapurAPCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy had suffered sunstroke during a party meeting at a private function hall in Kurnool on Thursday. Mr Reddy arrived in Kurnool to take part in the meeting with minor-ities organised by district party unit at a private function hall near SV Complex in Kurnool.
 
The APCC chief , who has been sick for the last two days due to fever and other ailments continued journey to take part in the programme. He had fallen unconscious for few seconds at the venue due to sunstroke.A team of doctors rushed the spot and treated Mr Raghuveera Reddy and advised him to take rest for a couple of days. 
 
Later, the APCC president continued the meeting and addressed the minorities over welfare programmes introduced during the Congress government at both state and Centre.
 
“Our party had committed for the welfare of minorities in the state by protecting properties and also renewing the structures like mosques and churches along with function halls,” Mr Reddy recalled. He further accused the NDA government that was acting against minorities in the country.
