Thiruvananthapuram: With problems in the software creating anomalies in the results of SSLC, the government was cautious over plus two results. The results were announced after a proper check.

Double valuation was done for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the marks of these subjects will be considered for engineering admission.

The tabulations of scores of these subjects were done online. In the case of all other subjects, tabulation was done in the Computer lab at the Directorate of higher education.

The eligibility for higher studies is D+ or a higher grade for all subjects with 30 per cent scores in theory alone and an aggregate total of 30 per cent in theory, practical evaluation and continuous evaluation taken together.

The results are available on the websites. www.kerala.gov.in, www.dhsekerala.gov.in,www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.results.it-school.gov.in, www.cdit.org, www.examresults.kerala.gov.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, www.results.nic.in and  www.educationkerala.gov.in.

One of the main attractions of this year’s Class XII examination result announ-cement was that the education minister P.K. Abdu Rabb also released the textbooks for the Class XII classes along with the results.

This included 45 new textbooks of various subject combinations prepared by the SCERT and 20 textbooks prepared by the NCERT. The textbooks will be distributed to schools from May 25 to June 10.
