Ruby programming language helps to develop better  web applications from concept, design, implementation and maintenance. With regards to the programming languages, there is a need to break free from the mainstream mentality of only learning propriety languages like Java/C/C++.

Multi-national organizations have been using the framework in some capacity; these range from Amazon, BBC, Cisco, CNET, IBM, JP Morgan, NASA, and Yahoo. ‘The brand has a unique organizational process focused on building solutions to facilitate high performance, scalability, and high-standard code quality’ said Gautam Rege, Co-founder and Managing Director, Josh Software. Web-based companies such as Scribd (over 70 million readers each month), Groupon (over 38.5 million subscribers in North America), and Base Camp have been using this framework successfully.

The adoption rate for Ruby on Rails has grown up to 15 per cent among start-ups, since 2012.  Gautam Rege, Co-founder and Managing Director of Josh Software has been organising Annual Ruby Conference in different parts of India. He has authored a book on Ruby and MongoDB web development. A series of workshops for Ruby Programming Language will begin from August 2015.
