Lakshmi to take up English in college?
Actress is most likely to join a Kochi-based college for further studies
There were rumours in the air two weeks ago after the Kerala State intermediate results were announced, that actress Lakshmi Menon had failed in Plus Two. However, the rumour died a natural death when it became known that Lakshmi had written her Plus Two exams in a different board the Central Board of Secondary Examination. The Kumki actress was relieved when the real results were announced this Monday, and she took to Facebook to express her happiness.
She scored more than 70 per cent in the exam, her subject being Commerce. A source said, “Her family is happy with the result although they expected more than 80 per cent. But, considering she hardly went to school during Plus One, it is a good achievement. She worked hard during the two months before the exam.”
The source adds that she has plans to study Communicative English for graduation, and that she might opt for a college in Kochi. “Communicative English is a course that requires a lot of reading, and it is possible to make up even if you miss classes. Lakshmi reads a lot and it will be easy for her to do justice to the course. Talks are on with a popular Kochi-based college, and the management of the institution has extended its support for her need to take breaks for her films.”
