Former Pakistan PM Yousuf Raza Gilani seeks ISI help to find his abducted son

Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday visited the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence to discuss the abduction of his son with the intelligence agency’s chief, Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar.
Mr Gilani met General Akhtar and briefed him about his telephonic conversation with his abducted son Ali Haider Gilani. The ISI assured Gilani of full cooperation. “Yousaf Raza Gilani also told the Director General ISI about discussion with Afghan officials,” Pakistan Television reported.
Ali Haider Gilani, the son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani who was kidnapped from Multan in 2013, spoke to his father via telephone from Afghanistan on Sunday. The telephone call was made from Afghanistan by the kidnappers who spoke to Yousuf Raza Gilani before allowing his son to speak to his father.
