Masturbating in this life can get you pregnant in the afterlife, claims Turkish cleric

If you are someone who might resort to self pleasure, then beware- your hand might get pregnant in the after life. Or so claims the Turkish televangelist Mücahid Cihad Han.

The Huffington Post reports that the cleric made the comments in response to a phone-in programme where the caller was distressed with his habit of masturbating and sought advice. Offering advice to the caller, the cleric is to have said that the act was forbidden in Islam and that one faith even specifies that their hands get pregnant in the afterlife if they indulge in self pleasure.

Twitterati reacted their usual way, with one of them asking if abortion was allowed in afterlife. With a multitude of views, masturbation has always remained a debated topic in Islam, but the Quran does not mention the topic at all.
