Anand Chandrasekaran has put down his papers after a brief stint of just about a year

Airtel said on Monday that it will shift all its pre-paid customers to "per second billing plan".

New Delhi: Telecom major Bharti Airtel’s chief product officer Anand Chandrasekaran has put down his papers after a brief stint of just about a year.“Proud of @WynkMusic, My Airtel, Airtel money product reboots and especially the team... will miss working with them every day. Really grateful for the opportunity to help kick off Airtel’s product journey in India. Excited for what’s ahead,” Mr Chand-rasekaran tweeted on Wednesday.

Mr Chandrasekaran was responsible for product conceptualisation, design and delivery as well as driving strategic technology partnerships. When contacted, Airtel spokesperson said, “After leading the transformation of product portfolio function at Airtel, Anand has decided to move on to pursue his own business venture. He has helped build products such as myAirtel App.” In March this year, Airtel’s ED for Human Resource (India and South Asia) Srikanth Karra resigned within a year of joining.
