Mumbai: Living for 103- years together, Britain’s oldest twins finally take their last breath. The twins were born in 1911.

Glenys Thomas passed away on 23rd April and her sister Florence Davis passed away on May 20 within a month of her sister’s death. The great-great-grandmothers witnessed the renaissance era and the technological development of contemporary time.

The twins are believed to be the world’s oldest identical twins. For their whole life both the sisters have lived next to each other in the village of Abertidwr, South wales.

Mrs Thomas's daughter Gwenda Stacey, 65, said to The Telegraph, UK "They have lived a simple life, they never went abroad, they were always happiest together."

The twins suffered from dementia and were living in a care home, however both still remembered each other and asked for one and other very often.

"Their connection was lasting and truly life long," said Mrs Stacey.
