Didn't copy song, says 'Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan' hit makers Meet Bros

Mumbai: Bollywood music producers and singers Meet Bros recently slammed reports stating that their hit song ‘Chiitiyaan Kaliyaan’ from the film ‘Roy’ has been lifted off a Balochi song which featured the same tune.

The Balochi version of the song went viral a couple of weeks ago after a video of the same went viral on YouTube. According to reports, the singer duo plans to sue the YouTube channel that uploaded the viral video, and not the artistes featured in the video.

The recording label has reportedly sent a legal notice to the uploader asking them to give due credit or have the video taken down.
