Revealed: The reason why Rekha walked out of 'Fitoor'
The actress has been replaced by Tabu
Mumbai: News of Rekha’s replacement in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’ shook the entertainment world. A couple of days ago it was announced that Tabu will be replacing the veteran actress as Miss Havisham in the film.
Rekha had already completed shooting for the film. In fact the actress had even re-shot some of the scenes as she was unhappy with the final look of the film. But unfortunately the actress decided to walk out of the film, and the director roped in Tabu for the role.
According to reports the reason Rekha decided to walk out of the film, was because there was some sort creative differences between the actress and the director. Both the actor had different interpretations of the character of Miss Havisham, and neither of them was happy with the final look.
Interestingly Tabu had no films signed after ‘Haider’, where she essayed the role of a Kashmiri mother. The actress thus gave her dates to director Abhishek Kapoor, and the team started shooting for the film this week.
