Hyderabad: On the first anniversary of the TS Formation Day on June 2, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to announce schemes intended to bridge the gap between devising policies and meeting the people’s aspirations.
Another imbalance being that while SCs, STs and Minorities got the 3-acre free land, Kalyanamastu and Shaadi Mubarak schemes, the BCs felt isolated as there was no major scheme for them in the first year. Mr Rao is learnt to have asked the team of six government advisers to reset the priorities of the TS government in the second year by suggesting new schemes to cover more sections of people. The team has already identified two sections — students and backward classes — for whom special schemes should be announced on TS Formation Day.
Based on this, Mr Rao is expected to come out with fresh sops for students on June 2 including filling existing vacancies, announcing a road map for future recruitments for the coming three years besides addressing BCs with new banks loans and training-linked self-employment schemes.
