Minor rapes 7-year-old in Hyderabad
The accused, a 17-yr-old boy, was neighbour of victim

Hyderabad: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 17-year-old boy at Parsigutta in Chilkalguda. The victim who is a Class III student and the accused are neighbours. Police said the boy took the victim to his house and raped her. The incident came to light when the girl informed her aunt and her parents.
Chilkalguda police said the girl's parents who are labourers went to work on tuesday morning. Around 12 noon the accused who is also a labourer came to the victim's house in the neighborhood and started talking. Later, he took the victim to his house and raped her.
"The victim returned home and was initially scared to inform her grandmother. She went to her aunt who stays nearby and disclosed the heinous act. The victim's parents who returned in the evening were informed.
Based on a complaint lodged by them late on Tuesday night, a rape case under The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act and sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act were booked, said inspector K. Srinivasulu. The boy who absconded after the incident was caught on Wednesday. He was produced before court and sent to judicial remand.
