The ACB has custody of the three accused for three more days

Hyderabad: ACB officials on Saturday took TD MLA Revanth Reddy and two other accused in the cash-for-vote case to their office for interrogation. Following court instructions, ACB sleuths grilled the trio in the presence of lawyers till 5 pm.

The ACB has custody of the three accused for three more days. Sources said the officials grilled them about the conspiracy, who the mastermind was and the source of money used in the pay-off.

“The accused were asked about the financial and political support they received to bribe the complainant,” said an official.

“The MLA and other two accused cooperated during interrogation. The questioning will continue on Monday,” a senior official said.

A legal adviser representing the MLA said the officers asked his client questions in the presence of his lawyer for two hours. While the ACB officials brought Mr Revanth Reddy from the jail to the headquarters at about 2 pm, the other accused, Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha, were brought earlier at 11 am.
