Health wing of the Kottayam municipality conducts maggi raids

The action has been taken after discussing it with the district administration

Kottayam: The health wing of the Kottayam municipality on Saturday seized more than 500 packets of maggi noodles from various shops in the town limits.

“Though we have not got any directions from the food safety department, we conducted the raid to avert the fear of the public.

The action has been taken after discussing it with the district administration”, Francis Jacob, health standing committee chairman of Kottayam municipality told Deccan Chronicle.
