Samsung has silently launched a new handset on its e-store - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G. for the Indian market. The newly launched 4G smartphone sports a 4.5-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and offers 8GB of internal storage.

Samsung also claims that the in-built storage capacity of Galaxy Core Prime 4G can also be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone also features a 5MP rear snapper and 2MP front-facing camera.

On its connectivity front, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G supports Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB, WiFi b/g/n and GPS. This handset is fuelled by a 2,000mAh battery and is priced at Rs 9,999.
