Mumbai: Soon after 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' hits the theatres this week, Mohit Suri will start work on his next, which is a remake of the French hit The Intouchables. According to reports, Aditya Roy Kapur, whose career revived after Aashiqui 2, has been cast in the film. However, Mohit denies having finalised anyone. “No one is locked at the moment. And I still have to finish a little bit of detailing in the script,” Mohit says.

Karan Johar has signed Mohit for this film, which is about the friendship between a young man who is assigned as the caretaker of an old man in a wheel chair. Mohit, however, will have his own twists in the tale. “It’s a really good film, but I have not made it a story of an old and a young man. Both characters in my film will be young,” he says.

Probe him on the reason behind this, and he says, “I thought why not make it more young and contemporary about a boy on a wheelchair, who has a life ahead of him. And finding a girl for him would be more interesting.”

The film will be co-produced by Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment.
