Megha Shree dons sinister avatar for Kolly debut
Ashok yet to make a mark in Kollywood
Tollywood girl Megha Sree who shot to fame with the movie Anaganaga Oka Chitram will be making her foray in Tamil with Kaa Kaa Kaa (KKK) which has the tagline Aabathin Arikuri (danger looms). Actor Ashok, who is yet to make a mark in K’town despite being a bundle of talent, is in the lead. Directed by Manon M, a former assistant to filmmakers like P Vasu, Vetri Maaran and Raghavan, the film also has Shruti Ramakrishna, leading lady of Aanmai Thavarel and Kaavalar Kudiyiruppu.
Talking to DC, Ashok says, “As the tagline suggests, KKK is a hardcore horror flick which is being made in Tamil and Telugu. I play a boy from an upper middle class family who returns to India from overseas. When the character goes to his ancestral property in India, an unexpected twist takes place.”
On having two heroines, the actor says, “There is a flashback which required a different female lead. I am happy that the film has a sound technical team including Saravana Natrajan (assistant of Velraj) as the Director of Photography (DOP), and Amrith helming the music department.”
