Hyderabad: It is reliably learnt that Anti-Corruption Bureau officials have decided to include AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the cash-for-vote case immediately after the custodial remand of Telugu Desam legislator A. Revanth Reddy is over.

Highly placed sources told Deccan Chronicle on Monday night that the ACB, after holding consultations with legal officers, came to the conclusion that Mr Naidu should be made an accused in the case, and accordingly, the investigating agency will alter the first information report in the ACB court.

Sources said that the ACB will formally issue a notice to Mr Naidu in a day or two to question him regarding his alleged involvement in the scam.
“Our investigation will not be complete unless we question Mr Naidu, as his name figured during questioning of Mr Revanth Reddy and the other accused named in the FIR,” said the source.
