Beware! ‘Unfriend Alert’ app may put your Facebook data security in danger

Mumbai:  Facebook and WhatsApp stand tall in the world of social media. These help you exchange messages, share multimedia files and get the latest updates. 

The ‘Unfriend Alert’ app sends you a notification on being blocked/ unfriended by any of your friends. However, latest media reports state that downloading this app may put your security in danger, as it reportedly steals the data. Media reports also state that the app also installs malicious software on the user’s computer. 

The ‘Unfriend Alert’ app is also capable of stealing your password. Make sure you change your password on Facebook and uninstall the app preferably.
