After delivering back-to-back hits with Madras and Komban, it looks like Karthi is aiming for a hat-trick with Kashmora. He has teamed up with director Gokul of Idharkkuthaan Aasaipattaya Balakumara fame and two ladies, Nayanthara and Sri Divya, for company. According to sources, Kashmora means a ‘deadly spirit’.The industry buzz has been that Karthi will be seen in two different roles, one of which will be a ghost.

However, when Karthi, who is shooting for the second schedule of the film in the city, was contacted by DC, he neither denied nor confirmed this information.“I am playing a dual role, but it is too early to reveal more about a film in bits and pieces. I am not permitted to speak about the movie; you will have to ask the director.”

The actor says, “The film is in the historical fiction genre, and there is a lot of suspense, twists and turns.”Heaping laurels on Gokul he says, “Humour is the biggest plus for Gokul. I am enjoying every bit of filming Kashmora.” After the second schedule, the movie is shifting to Bulgaria to shoot another chunk of the film.
