Four American LM2500 marine gas turbines produced by GE Aviation will power the INS Vikrant. The company provides similar engines for more than 29 navies all over the world. Italian Firm Selex Sistemi will provide air surveillance Naval RAN 40L
India awarded St. Petersburg’s based Proletarski Zavod company to supply arresting gears and braking machines for INS Vikrant which will be supplied in 2015. Aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya in service with Indian Navy also uses same equipments
