Uncharted trilogy soon
Sony plans to fill the gap between now and the next Uncharted title
Sony has confirmed that they will be releasing a collection featuring remasters of the three Uncharted console games for the PlayStation 4.
With Thief’s End being pushed to 2016, it makes perfect sense to re-release the Naughty Dog games on the PS4, for players to experience the trilogy before Drake’s final adventure.
Not only is it a good way to replay the games for those who already love the franchise, it is a well-known fact that a large number of PS4 owners did not own a PS3. They either only owned an Xbox 360, or bought the PS4 as their first console; and there is no other series that defined the PlayStation 3 as Uncharted. The remaster will be done by Bluepoint Games, a studio that specialises in this area. All three games will be running at 1080p/60fps with a host of improvements including lighting, textures and models. New trophies and a Photo Mode will also be added to the collection. Unfortunately, the co-op and multiplayer modes from Uncharted 2 and 3 will not be a part of this package.
