Centre overturns Arvind Kejriwal's order
Kejriwal does not have powers to transfer secretaries of the home and land department

New Delhi: In a major setback to the AAP government, Delhi chief secretary K.K. Sharma has directed secretary (home) Rajendra Kumar to comply with the Union home ministry’s order that CM Arvind Kejriwal does not have powers to transfer secretaries of the home and land department, as these powers lie solely with the Centre. The chief secretary also directed the official to implement the order and send him a compliance report immediately. Mr Kejriwal hit back at the MHA, saying the Centre should not interfere in such matters.
