Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister, N. Chinarajappa on Friday, while on a visit to TD office in Guntur, alleged that Telangana government tapped 120 phones belonging to AP government and hence they have lodged a complaint with the union government with necessary proofs on this issue.

He said anyone who found guilty of phone tapping would be punished without exception.

Claiming that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is swiftly developing the state, Mr Rajappa alleged that YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy, unable to digest the development, has colluded with Telangana chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to weaken the AP state. YSRC support to TRS in the recent MLC elections is a proof for this conspiracy, he said.

He added that law and order in Hyderabad should be controlled by the Governor according to the section 8 of AP Reorganisation bill but Telangana government is violating this norm. AP government is trying for the strict implementation of the bill.

Minister for agriculture, P. Pulla Rao, recalling the statement made by KCR about blasting Sunkesula dam, termed KCR as “street rowdy” and said that AP government would protect their dams and projects.

Responding on the issue of shortage of seeds, Mr. Rao said that seeds would be supplied to farmers of AP on June 15 and 16 and the government is making all arrangements for this by appointing special officers.

He also informed that the names of candidates from Guntur for the upcoming MLC election would be announced by CM on Saturday evening.
