Los Angeles: "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter have announced that they are proud parents to a healthy baby boy. The tot is the first child together for the couple who got married in a private ceremony on Valentine's Day this year on the Isle of Wright, reported Ace Shopwbiz.
"Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son. We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks," a representative for the 38-year-old actor said in a statement.
Cumberbatch was recently named Commander of the Order of the British Empire or CBE along with "12 Years a Slave" actor Chiwetel Ejiofor in Queen's birthday honours.
